Be A Failpire Segment Producer

Hey Folks,

Over the year Failpire has grown, expanded, tried a few new things here and there and started to give me a few hints that I can't do it all by myself anymore.

So here's what I'm looking for. I want a few good people that can reliably produce a short segment weekly.

Depending on the segments needs this may include
• Writing
• Directing
• Editing
• Acting
• Web Articles/Promotion

I've got a bunch of segments I've already created and if someone would like to take over some or all the responsibilities for that it would be a big help. I'll reward you with accolades and staff credits galore!

So here are the segments I've created in the past:

Video Fight Club
A weekly battle of two user submitted original comedic videos - voted on by the viewers.
NEEDS
• Weekly Poll
• Weekly Video Announcement
• Weekly Page update
• Promotion ever few days
• Notifying Video Makers - Selecting Videos - Creating Schedule

Contest Corner
A listing of legitimate contests from anywhere and everywhere
NEEDS
• Daily or somewhat Daily updates and listings
• Possible Weekly web section

Featured Member
Taken from this site right here, we'll feature and do a small piece on one of our unique members
NEEDS
• Weekly Video Piece 30 seconds to one minute
• Weekly Blog update/announcement

Short Race
Short Race is a 100 hour race between video teams. Their video mission is create from a live chat room audience and is unique for each team, based on a wild card. This will be a monthly event.
NEEDS
• Monthly Live Segment - Selecting Video mission
• Monthly Segment - reviewing Winners
• Promotion
• Other - we'll discuss

Weekly Failpire Videos
Failpire features funny videos from everywhere on the web. I can't find them all, so anyone willing to help out would be much appreciated.
NEEDS
• Finding Funny Videos
• Writing accompanying copy/jokes for live host
• Updating Tumblr / Ning with links/embeds

Weekly Poll master
It's pretty much what it says. We like to have a new poll for our members to voice their opinions on, it can be anything from current events and pop culture, to the latest internet meme or youtube controversy.
NEEDS
• Poll Creation (via Polldaddy)
• Writing Copy for live host to use during Failpire broadcasts

Ning Organizer
Simply I need someone to just help out here, create interesting things for members to interact on, and help tidy up this ning thing :)

Failpire Guests Coordinator
Failpire hosts live interviews and musical performances in Los Angeles. Preferably the person who takes on this responsibility should be in Los Angeles.
NEEDS
• Finding and Scheduling Guests and locations.

Failpire CoHost
I'm examining the possibility of having a co-host, or even handing over the host reins all together and taking the Director/Producer role for Failpire. I'm going to be really picky about this position, but for now I'm willing to give almost anyone based in Los Angeles a shot and see how the audience reacts.

Other Ideas

I'm also open to other ideas that revolve around the web and web based media, so if you've got an idea let me know. Together we can grow this empire and bring each other up!
