I'm excited about it even though I'm really not into any of their 'new' stuff, because I know they'll still play a bunch of danzig's songs and it'll be a great singalong hahaha. Super stoked i must say-- they've been my probably one of my favourite bands since I was 15.

I thought you'd like those. Pegboy is by far my favorite band. I can only think of one track they have I'd bother to skip if it came on my shuffle.

if you like those songs try 'Slipped Through my Fingers' and 'Still Uneasy' (basically that whole album is solid)

They also do a pretty good version of 'Surrender' by Cheap Trick.

Yea look for the Jawbreaker songs 'Want' or 'Bivouac' I think those will be more your speed. I think that early album was called Bivouac too. (god it's been too long).

Pegboy is probably gonna be more your thing though. 3 chords, loud and fast. 'Strong Reaction', 'Fade away', 'My Youth' are good songs

Comment by KennyCrane on September 12, 2009 at 12:49pm: Thanks Sam! I have Napster and found Jawbreaker on there, but the earliest album they have is 93's 24 Hour Revenge Therapy. I'm listening to it now. They have Pegboy on there too, the 2 album reissue from '91, '92. I'll check them out next.

As I wrote this, I listened to two Jawbreaker songs, not as loud and fast as I like my punk, but not bad....

Well if you like Minor Threat I think you'd like early Jawbreaker and pegboy for sure.

Pegboy came out of Naked Raygun in Chicago.
